Definitions for Colossians 4:15

Church - Assembly of "called out" ones.

Clarke's Colossians 4:15 Bible Commentary

Salute - Nymphas, and the Church - in his house - This person, and his whole family, which probably was very numerous, appear to have received the Gospel; and it seems that, for their benefit and that of his neighbors, he had opened his house for the worship of God. In those primitive times there were no consecrated places, for it was supposed that the simple setting apart of any place for the worship of God was a sufficient consecration. See of those domestic churches, Romans 16:5 (note); 1 Corinthians 16:19 (note)

Barnes's Colossians 4:15 Bible Commentary

Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea - Notes, Colossians 2:1.

And Nymphas - This person is nowhere else mentioned, and nothing more is known of him.

And the church which is in his house - Notes, Romans 16:5.

Wesley's Colossians 4:15 Bible Commentary

4:15 Nymphas - Probably an eminent Christian at Laodicea.
