Being a Christian is certainly not an easy way to live.  There are many hardships, trials and sufferings that we must all endure and struggle through.  Some of these are created by other people, sometimes we create them ourselves, and still other times its life coming at your health and well-being.  Just look at the prophets of the Bible and you’ll see hard times and persecution in their writings.  Paul was in jail for much of his writing.  Stephen was the first ever recorded martyr.  And of course, Jesus was beaten, whipped, bruised, berated, laughed at, made a mockery and crucified for our sins.  Life is not easy as a Christian.  Whatever your life looks like now, I encourage you to take it all to God in prayer and also listen to some encouraging Christian music to inspire you to press on and fight the good fight.  Here are my top 10 Christian songs for the broken hearted with some encouraging lyrics for each.
