My Favorite 10 The Devil Wears Prada Songs

The Devil Wears Prada is a band that is very distinctive in that no one sounds like them.  Mike Hranica’s vocals are brutal!  His high screams and low growls make him one of the best vocalists I’ve ever heard.  Mix that with their amazing guitar work and drums and your ears will thank you!  TDWP is solid in their breakdowns and lyrics.  They have written some seriously good stuff and if you haven’t listened to much of them then you are most definitely missing out.  Quick side note: all of my favorites songs come from the first 4 albums and the Zombie EP, so I will be leaving out “8:18”.  8:18 is a good album but my favorite songs are not on that one.  Here are my favorite 10 songs by TDWP and some lyrics for each!

1. Danger: Wildman, With Roots Above And Branches Below

This song has always been my favorite.  It does not hold back on speaking truth.  People refuse to listen to truth in God’s word and stay “attached to their deaf ears.”  Only until one opens their heart and mind to what God wants for them will they ever find peace.  The world brings chaos.  God brings peace in the midst of that chaos.

Conclusion

TDWP is one of those bands that needs to be in your metal collection if not already!  They are very unique in their writing style and they are chalk full of heavy breakdowns, clean vocals, and awesome guitar work/drumming too!
