Kristian Stanfill has been playing and performing Christian music for a long time as he started playing guitar at 13. He has been involved with the Passion organization since 2005 and signed his first record contract in 2008 with sixsteprecords. His first album released was Hello (2007) and his second album, Mountains (2008) charted the Billboard 200. Kristian Stanfill has won three GMA Dove Awards, including “Special Event Album of the Year” in 2007 for Passion: Everything Glorious, “Speicial Event Album of the Year” in 2009 for Passion: God of This City, and “Special Event Album of the Year” in 2011 for Passion: Awakening. Stanfill toured through the U.S. the past couple of months with the Passion: Take It All Fall Tour and is scheduled to perform in early January with Passion 2015. In a way, it seems that opportunities immediately started coming to him as soon as he picked up the guitar. This is true in a way, but he had been practicing as a songwriter long before he started playing music.
