My 10 Favorite Wolves At The Gate Songs

Wolves At The Gate is becoming one of my favorite Christian metal bands.  They are one of a kind and completely original.  You know them right when you hear them.  Nick Detty is an awesome front man too!  His screams are sick and he gives his all when playing live!  Couple that with Steve Cobucci’s (guitarist) clean vocals and they have an amazing way of bringing the gospel to you through metal music.  Here are my 10 favorite songs of theirs from the 2 studio albums they’ve released.  And as always I’ll include some of my favorite lyrics for each.

2. The Bird And The Snake, VxV

The meaning behind this song is powerful.  It shows just how powerful the great deceiver is.  Steve Cobucci explained this song by saying, “’The Bird And The Snake’ is another song with layers and depth.  It tells the story of a barter between a hungry bird and a cunning snake, where the snake trades a worm for feathers. The bird trades so many feathers that he is rendered unable to fly away from the snake, thus becoming his prey." (solidstaterecords.com)

This song is literally a wakeup call to Christians.  So many Christians are scared to evangelize and let people know where they stand.  It’s time to be bold and spread the message!  Here are the full lyrics to this powerful and driving song!

These are my 10 favorite songs by Wolves At The Gate.  These guys are on fire for God and their mission is to spread the Good News to the lost and hurting people.  God bless them!  They are a great role model for the youth and adults too!
