Family Grows From One Child to Five With the Birth of Quadruplet Girls

Adriana Luna and her fiancé, Anthony Lerma, weren’t expecting any babies at all when they discovered they were going to have four. They were parents to a two-year-old boy when Luna gave birth to quadruplets. They never expected them, but the four identical baby girls are a true blessing.

The little bundles were born at 29 weeks on Valentine's Day, 2026. The couple named their babies Amora, Analia, Arya, and A’zura. Two babies are home from the hospital, while two remain in the NICU.

“I was actually one and done with my toddler, but they just came, and they're a miracle because they weren't supposed to be here at all,” said Adriana.

When she told Anthony about the pregnancy, he thought she was joking.

Adriana added, “Multiples does not run in my family, so this was something new. And at the same time, I was excited but also worried,” because pregnancies with multiples are always high-risk.

Pregnancy Was a Huge Shock

When she found out she was pregnant, she had just begun nursing college in Corpus Christi, Texas. Though she’s now a stay-at-home mom to five, she knows nursing is still in her future and believes nothing can get in the way of that.

The babies’ NICU doctor, Dr. Miguel Deleon, said the odds of having four identical babies are 1 in 11 million. When it was time for Adiriana to have the babies, his team was ready for them.

They were “on standby from the very beginning because we don't know when they're gonna be born, and I think it's always a challenge to be predicting because the care is totally different,” he said.

The Babies Are Safe and Sound for Now, But the Family Will Need Support

Adriana will not be able to work as she intended. The parents say they will need financial help to raise their babies and son, and have a GoFundMe page.

They said, “While we are beyond grateful for these four blessings, this has also brought sudden emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Caring for quadruplets means quadruple the diapers, formula, medical care, and daily essentials—on top of adjusting to life as new parents of four newborns at once.”
