Anthem Lights’ Medley of The Best 2022 Radio Hits

Music is a powerful medium. Through eloquently written lyrics and compelling melodies, songs can deliver impactful messages. One group that uses music to impart lessons about Christ is Anthem Lights.

This time, though, the group of talented vocalists comes together for a mash-up of some of the biggest radio hits of last year. To kick off their medley, the guys cover a song from likely the biggest name in music and probably, in all of entertainment: Taylor Swift.

The video begins with the 4 guys near a bridge in what appears to be New York City as they sing Swift’s hit “Anti-Hero.”

“At teatime, everybody agrees
I’ll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero”

After finishing up with Swift’s tune, Anthem Lights moves on to what was a massive hit last year from former One Direction member Harry Styles: “As It Was.”

Next up in the medley is “Heat Waves” from Glass Animals. Also included in the group's beautifully-performed medley is a song from Rihanna.

Additionally, the guys also show off their impressive range on a song that was originally released in the 1980s but thanks to Netflix’s “Stranger Things," was popular once again: Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.”

The YouTube video has been viewed 31,000 times, liked more than 1,700 times and has more than 80 comments. Most comments are overwhelmingly positive from users saying how much they love and appreciate the group’s work.

One person wrote, “Thank you guys for This! You included all the songs that were important to me this year. What an amazing performance.”

Another user posted: “That was amazing!! Can’t Wait to hear more songs”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
