Cat Crashes Couple’s Wedding And Finds A Home

A cat who showed up unexpectedly to a wedding ceremony and stole the show has found a home with the bride and groom.

Weddings are beautiful and often emotional events that are meticulously and painstakingly planned. Everything, from the venue, the food, the table settings and the number of guests, is considered and planned well in advance of the ceremony. Any hiccup or hitch in those plans could throw everything off, resulting in tears and an upset bride.

One couple was exchanging their vows when their ceremony was temporarily interrupted by an uninvited, furry and four-legged guest. A video posted on YouTube shows the bridesmaids and groomsmen standing silently when they start hearing something odd and out of place. They saw and heard a cat standing near the woods meowing during the middle of the ceremony.

The couple even stopped their ceremony to catch a glimpse of the uninvited guest, which caused several guests to begin laughing. Eventually, they did say their “I dos” and become man and wife, but the cat stole the show.

“The whole night, that’s literally all anyone could talk about, was ‘Ok, we’re having, like, the best night. This is so great, we’re so happy for you guys, but like the cat. Like, let’s talk about the cat,’’’ said Cara Hamdan.

Days after the ceremony, the uninvited wedding guest was caught. The cat was placed in a nearby animal shelter. Then, after returning from their honeymoon and about a month after their wedding, the couple went to the shelter and adopted the cat!

Daisy, who now has a loving home, quickly bonded with her new owners. The loving and affectionate cat is never too far behind either of them, choosing to remain in their company constantly.

Proverbs 12:10 “An upright man has thought for the life of his beast, but the hearts of evildoers are cruel.”
