"Two Natures in One Person," Larger Catechism Question #40, Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren
What an amazing mystery revealed in Scripture: Jesus, the eternal Son of God, took on our humanity and as one person in two natures accomplished our salvation! Only Jesus was fully equipped to save us completely. The unity of his two natures in his one person assures us that there is nothing left for us to do, either in the performance of good works or in suffering for sin. Jesus has done it all, and only he was uniquely qualified to do this. Watch as Pastor MacLaren reflects on the answer to Larger Catechism Question #40 during the Sunday Worship Service of May 30, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA (www.firstchurchopc.org). Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the pastor.

A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
