Temptation and Sin
Summary: Our selfish orientation is almost irresistibly drawn to anything that promises to bring us pleasure. But thankfully, we can put ourselves in the hands of the only One qualified to help us overcome that which tempts us.
Verse: But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
