What comfort can we offer to someone who has experienced a devastating loss, such that their troubles are resolved at the very heart and core of the problem? It is only the Reformed faith with its full assertion of the sovereignty of God and his eternal plan that can offer real comfort to those who suffer. It announces the full forgiveness of sins to be revealed with the coming of "Sovereign Lord" who is the Shepherd of his people.
