Country Group Love And Theft Perform 'Amazing Grace'
Country duo Love & Theft perform a special rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ at The Nashville Vineyard Church in Tennessee.
Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson rose to the top of the charts with their single ‘Angel Eyes.’ The singer-songwriters have continued to produce popular country songs and gain a worldwide following.
Today, they’re lending their voices to one of the most popular hymns of all time, ‘Amazing Grace.’
“Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed”
This iconic hymn was written by John Newton as a measure of thanks to the Lord for giving him new life. As a sailor, John found himself caught in a terrible storm. After hours at the helm of the ship, his thoughts turned to God.
After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving our Father. ‘Amazing Grace’ is one of those songs that truly stands the test of time and it’s so incredible to see it performed by this country duo inside a church.
The words remind us all that God loves us despite all our sins and shortcomings. His love and grace extends to everyone.
John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
