In this fan film set five years after the events of the Hollywood film Dark Knight Rises, Bruce Wayne finds himself living in the small-town area of Hanover and Havenport under the name of Thomas Meyer. Selina Kyle died in a car wreck two years earlier, and Bruce attends the counseling sessions of Doctor Pamela Isley to deal with his depressed, suicidal state.

Just when it seems like things can't get worse for Bruce, a new gang calling themselves the Sons of Batman emerge in his town, led by a new Batman who isn't afraid to kill. Bruce comes out of retirement to combat the new threat, but he doesn't realize that there are demonic powers behind the new threat, a power so evil and terrifying that it pushes Bruce's addiction to being Batman to the forefront of his mind.

After being pushed to the edge of the eternal abyss, Bruce comes to realize that it is only through a personal relationship with Jesus of Nazareth that he can break free of his addiction to being Batman, and consequently survive the demonic powers threatening to swallow his soul.
