Sweetest Marriage Proposal Features Adorable Newly-Adopted Puppy - Cute Videos

A man concocted a sweet way to involve his adorable, newly-adopted puppy in his marriage proposal to his girlfriend.

Marriage is a major step for everyone. It’s a lifelong commitment to someone, vowing to remain with them forever, through the good and the bad. The significance of marriage is likely why coming up with a way to and then popping the question is always a stressful and nerve-wracking experience.

Some people might take months to plan out the perfect proposal, making sure every last detail is perfect. Others may take a different route, choosing a more low-key way to pull out the ring and ask that all-important question. While everyone wants a proposal story they can tell others for years to come, the biggest and most important factor is finding the right person.

One man, 24-year-old Jason Stolz, an employee at a Humane Society in Colorado, found a unique, inventive and sweet way to ask his girlfriend, Julia, to marry him. Prior to getting engaged, Jason and Julia had been talking about adopting a dog together. They eventually settled on a French bulldog.

A couple weeks later, Jason and Julia brought Banjo. But before bringing him home, after first seeing the dog, Jason knew he wanted to involve the puppy in the proposal.

Jason had gotten Banjo’s new dog tag engraved with “Will You Marry Me?” and asked Julia to look at it. As she did, Jason got down on one knee and presented her with an engagement ring.

Julia couldn’t believe her eyes.

“This isn’t happening,” she said. “This isn’t real.”
While Julia was momentarily rendered speechless by the excitement of the moment, she did eventually say yes. The two are planning their nuptials, which they say will be a pet-friendly occasion.
