The official trailer for the Netflix film “Thelma the Unicorn” has been released.

Everyone has a limited amount of time on Earth, and we can never be sure when that time will end. That’s why we must and should make the most of it. Time is of the essence. We’ll never be able to go back and relive one day, hour or minute. 

Most people are relatively ambitious and seek to do something with their lives and make something of themselves. Ambition and drive are good and commendable qualities, but like everything else, they must be controlled and kept in reason. Ambition, drive and desire can sometimes cause people to completely change who they are, doing things they never thought they would. 

This is the idea behind the new Netflix children’s film “Thelma the Unicorn,” whose trailer has been posted on YouTube. Like every other movie, “Thelma the Unicorn” is based on a series of bestselling books. 

The movie tells the story of a musically gifted pony, Thelma. Thelma is the lead singer of a small rock band, but she desires much more than what the band has achieved. According to the trailer’s description, Thelma “dreams of becoming a glamorous music star.” 

Sadly, Thelma is informed that “ain’t nobody want to hear music from a plain old farm pony.” Understandably, Thelma is rattled, believing that her musical dreams will always remain that: dreams. 

However, as luck would have it, Thelma is transformed into a unicorn. Things quickly start turning around for Thelma, and she starts gaining worldwide attention for her musical ability. 

But Thelma’s newfound fame and fortune come with a cost, as it often does. One of the film’s characters even asks her, “Why are you pretending to be someone else?”

The film, which is rated PG, will be available to stream on Netflix beginning on May 17.
