The ACLU filed a Federal lawsuit against Moore for displaying a granite monument of the Ten Commandments (The Rock) in the central rotunda of the state supreme-court building, and had him deposed and stripped of his judgeship (November 13, 2003). Now they are reportedly trying to revoke his right to practice law in Alabama. <br />
