"The Personal, Subtle Satan," WCF 6:1; Rev. R. Scott MacLaren 12/28/2014
It would not seem hard to convince someone that there is evil in the world. Just watch the news and you find it with most every story. Many however explain that evil in metaphysical rather than moral terms. In other words, it is the fault of my finite nature or my environment, that I am evil. But Scripture asserts that we are accountable for the evil in the world, and that there is an evil person behind it all, Satan himself. Watch as Pastor MacLaren continues his commentary on the Westminster Confession of Faith by considering Chapter 6, section 1 of the Confession. This commentary was given during the worship service of First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA on December 28, 2014. First Church is a member of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. The Rev. R. Scott MacLaren is the pastor.

A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
