2-Year-Old Sings 'The National Anthem' And It Goes Viral

A 2-year-old little girl goes viral after nailing her first performance of ‘The National Anthem.

In 1814, Francis Scott Key penned the iconic song after the events of The War Of 1812. British forces bombed Fort McHenry but the U.S. still proved victorious during the battle.

The next morning, Francis Scott Key spotted the American flag flying over the fort and he was hit with love and inspiration. What followed are the special words that we know and love today.

“O! say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”

‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ is one of the hardest songs to perform. It features a number of high notes that make for difficult transitions. But 2-year-old Amelia Bubenik of Granite Bay, California belted out these words with ease.

Her parents were stunned when this toddler nailed her first rendition of the patriotic song. After her performance was posted online, Amelia quickly went viral.

Donned in an outfit of red, white and blue, this sweet girl knew every single word of ‘The National Anthem.’ What an adorable performance from this little cutie.
