Joy: confidence in and submission to God’s direction for my life. Why? Because I’ve already seen that His ways have great benefit. I can be submissive to God’s direction for my life. Joy: Recognize God’s work in my life. Those whom he loves he chases. Opposite of joy is fear. If I’m fearful about something, I don’t have joy. Peace is having a self-proven assurance that God is in control. Peace destroys the authority that establishes chaos. That authority is Satan and my flesh. His Word will teach you His ways.
