Jeanne Robertson On Trying To Look Younger

Jeanne Robertson On Trying To Look Younger

I can’t get enough of Jeanne Robertson and her unique sense of humor. Every time that she comes onto the stage, I find myself laughing out loud. I have no idea where she comes up with some of these things but I sure am glad that she shares all of her hilarious stories.

In 1963, when Jeanne was just 19 years old, she was crowned Miss North Carolina. It was a turning point in her life and helped to launch her career as a public speaker and clean comedian.

Recently, Jeanne was asked to come back to the pageant and help crown the newest Miss North Carolina. Jeanne would be the person on stage that would walk out and actually place the crown on the winner’s head. This is a big honor and she immediately accepted. But as the time grew closer, Jeanne started to feel the pressure of looking her best as she was going to stand right next to a pageant queen.

This is where thinks start to take a hilarious turn and Jeanne enters into the world of waist-trimming undergarments and ways to minimize her saggy arms. And when it finally comes time for Jeanne to crown the new Miss North Carolina, I about doubled over in laughter watching her re-create the way she walked on stage. I sure do wish I could’ve seen this in person.

What do you think about Jeanne and her tips on trying to look younger? Are you laughing as hard as I am right now?
