Accept the Truth That My Sin is My Responsibility
The two thieves, even though they were also being crucified for crimes, joined the mob that was watching the crucifixion in hurling insults at Christ as he died. Why did they do this? By insulting Jesus, they were able to feel better than him, even though they were dying in the same way that he was. This is something that we all do, for we all want to feel like we are better than others at some point in our lives. This is not accepting the responsibilities for our sins.
