"Church Councils" Acts 15 Rev. R. S. MacLaren
Pastor MacLaren's sermon, "Church Councils and Christian Unity," makes the case for the beginning of a presbyterian form of government in the early church. At the same time, he shows how the Roman Catholic conception of a hierarchy of bishops culminating in the Pope is contrary to the evidence of Scripture. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA on October 12, 2014. The Rev. R Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
