MODERN Medley - Ministry Videos

In February of 1996, I started rehearsing with a group of people for the University of Toledo's spring dance concert, Jump Leap Spring Dance. Although we performed an excerpt of this medley at a community function called Celebrate Dance, that's exactly what it was--an excerpt. Something along the lines of a preview. The UT concert and this piece were the focus of my life at that point. It was the moment at which I knew why I had been created. This group, MODERN, existed in some form or another from that point in time until I left Toledo in June 2004. About 1/3 (4/13) of the original cast members shown here had NEVER danced before, and about 1/2 (6/13) were non-Christians. This doesn't sound like a good recipe for a Christian dance ministry, but I honestly believe the Lord blessed us beyond our limitations in order to glorify Himself.
