Singer Turns Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' Into A Christian Song

This talented singer easily turns Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bad Habits’ into a Christian song, and you have to hear it!

A mom of three and a successful contemporary Christian artist, Beckah Shae has gathered fans in the Christian music community during the 15 years of her singing career. She won her first Dove award about 10 years ago and has received a handful of nominations and awards since.

With her husband Jack as her manager and music producer, Beckah has released over 10 albums. So many of her songs have beautifully personal lyrics that can uplift and inspire Christians.

Outside of her music, Beckah devotes herself to improving children’s lives around the world alongside the nonprofit called Kids Alive. She has traveled to over 25 countries to use her voice for kids that would otherwise be voiceless.

Beckah uses her music and voice to pave the way for self-love and acceptance. “She believes discovering our true identity is the key to our true destiny. Her motto is, ‘seeing yourself the way God sees you is the beginning of freedom.’”

If you haven’t heard of him yet, you might be surprised. Ed Sheeran is one of the world’s best-selling artists. Not only does he sing his own songs but also writes and produces music for other popular artists.

‘Bad Habits’ is his most recent release and doesn’t have anything to do with faith. Basically, it’s a song about temptations. But somehow, Beckah transformed it into an incredible Christian song about her best habits leading to God.

Here are the first few lines of Beckah’s version.

Every time You come around,
You know I can't say no
Every time the sun comes out,
I let You take control

Beckah clearly lives her life as God intended and turned a mainstream pop song into a wonderful worship tune. Way to go!
