She has wowed the world by the many hats she wears from writing books, to singing, to acting. Now she has something else to show. Dolly Parton’s tour bus is everything we ever imagined and more!

Oprah Winfrey got her chance to see Dolly’s “Rocking Tour Bus.” Dolly’s southern hospitality must be infectious. You can even hear Oprah speak with a slight southern accent as she greets Dolly.

Dolly is, of course, all smiles and country sass like nobody’s business.

At first glance the tour bus is beyond impressive. Huge, of course. Colorful, of course. Clean, of course. The bus is decked out so well that by all appearances it looks like the hallway to an expensive house.

There’s plenty of space too. There’s enough room in the corridor for them to stand side by side and fit another person if they wanted.

The two began the tour at the back of the bus. Dolly showed Oprah the three bunk beds, one for herself and the others for her drivers. Also in the back is her own shower with a bathtub on the inside.

“I’m so little, I could just sit right in there,” Dolly said with glee.

Oprah is clearly impressed, but also doubtful. “You cannot sit in that tub,” Oprah said while pointing.

“I can. I do all the time.”

“That is a teeny tiny little baby tub.”

It’s kind of like you can take a little bath, a little shower.”

Dolly said it works for her, so it must. Either way the sight of the itty bitty tub is humorous.

Behind a mirror, Dolly kept her wigs, which Opray referred to as Dolly’s “girls.”

Dolly explained to Oprah how she loves to travel by bus.

“Well, I love it because I can do all my reading, all my dressing, see, I live on my bed. And I just sit up here. I do all my work.”

Not only that, but Dolly has her own makeshift altar for praying at the foot of her bed. Oprah shared her story with how she has a prayer chair where she keeps her Bible, prays and meditates. The two talked about faith briefly and Dolly shared, “At all my houses, I have chapels, places where I pray.”

They moved on to Dolly’s cosmetic area by her bed, where she puts on all of her makeup. Then her bathroom, this one with a toilet. The colors in the room are majestic. Brightly colored towels. Perfume bottles. Lit candles.

In the kitchen is a halftable in a nicely decorated setup. The refrigerator has been organized by Dolly’s sister Rachel. Food is labelled. Drinks are organized.

“I hardly ever check into hotels anymore,” the star admitted.

Who can blame her? Dolly has been blessed with many amenities in her tour bus. And clearly she is grateful to God for those blessings.
