The Power of the Blood of Jesus - Sermon Videos

Welcome to this Friday’s edition of the Summer Discipleship Program. I am Jim Loper, and our focus on Friday is: The Power of the Blood of Jesus

A number of distinct blessings have been obtained for us by the power of the blood of Jesus. One of these blessings is redemption. (Eph. 1:7 NKJV) says 7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
The most predominant theme in the Bible, from Genesis through Revelation, is Redemption through the Blood of Christ. The word redemption means to buy back; to recover ownership of something that was lost by paying a ransom price. It also means to pay the price necessary to purchase a slave’s freedom. Our redemption stands in the Blood that Jesus shed for us on the cross.
By means of His own Blood, Jesus bought us back to God. He recovered ownership of our lives that were lost in sin by paying the ransom price of His own blood. By His blood He purchased us out of the slave market of sin and Satan’s dominion. And because His blood has ransomed us in full, we now have the forgiveness of our sins. The moment we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, His Blood of Redemption is applied to our lives and we are forgiven.

But many times we may not sense the reality of our redemption and forgiveness.

That is why it is important for us to meditate on Scriptures that tell us what the Blood has done for us so that we can fully walk in the reality & freedom of redemption.
