Sweet Brother Offers Sister His Award - Inspirational Videos

Children, like adults, have disagreements and spats. However, fights between children, especially among siblings, can seem very frequent and petty. However, one YouTube clip captured a sweet and precious moment between siblings.

The video starts by showing two siblings – an older brother and his younger sister – standing together on a soccer field. The boy in the video has his arms affectionately around his sister’s neck. The little girl has her arm around her brother’s back.

Then text appears on the screen to explain and put the situation in context for the viewer. The text reads that the older brother in the video “gathered with his team to receive their medals for first place in their soccer tournament.” 

Next, we see the young boy, with his sister standing in front of him, receive his medal but his next move is very unexpected. Right after a man places the medal around the boy’s neck, the child takes it off. Instead of basking in the glory, he puts it around his sister!

The little is obviously taken aback by the sweet move from her older brother. She immediately cranes her neck to look up at her brother. She then grabs the award around her neck, takes it in her hand and examines it in awe.

Seconds later, the little girl turns to the camera and flashes a massive smile! She is thrilled by the attention and affection shown to her by her older brother.

One of the users who commented on YouTube praised the young boy’s parents for his move.

“Kudos to his parents. This young passionate, thoughtful fellow is going to be someone very important in his later years in life! You made your sister so happy. She will remember that moment for the rest of her life,” someone posted.

The special moment between the young siblings is an excellent example of how even the smallest act of kindness can mean the world to someone else.
