Partners Helping The Homeless in Guilford County

Partners Ending Homelessness is an initiative that focuses on actively implementing, evaluating and updating Guilford County's Ten Year Plan to end chronic homelessness. Chronic homelessness is defined as an individual with a disabling condition who has either been continuously homeless for a year or more, or has had at least four episodes of homelessness in the past three years. In the 2007 Homeless Point in Time count there were over 200 people experiencing chronic homelessness in Guilford County. The Partners Ending Homelessness initiative focuses on generating housing, strengthening prevention & supportive service efforts, and increasing coordination and access through the continuum of care in our community.

Ending chronic homelessness by 2016 and reducing all types of homelessness is vital to our community's health and continued growth. Please utilize this website to connect to the issue of homelessness in Guilford County and learn how your support can help to restore lives.
