Sunday Presbyterian: "The Birth of Jesus Christ," Part 1
Not every child is born into the best of circumstances. Some are born into poverty, despair, and neglect, while others are born into a life of suspicion and animosity. Matthew writes about the birth of Jesus Christ in a time of skepticism and hostility, and through it all shows us God's sovereign care for this special birth. Watch as Pastor MacLaren explains what Matthew has to say about the birth of Jesus Christ from Matthew 1:18-25. Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA, an Orthodox Presbyterian Church (1stPresChPerk.org).

A Prayer for Spending Money - Your Daily Prayer - May 29
No one is immune to the negative hold that money can have on our hearts in plenty or in want. I am a spender. I like to shop and get new things. However, God has taught me throughout my life to pray about my spending and to listen to the still, small voices that lead me in my financial decisions. God desires us to live a life of generosity, putting God before money. We cannot serve both God and money.
