Why Kagan Should Not Be Confirmed
http://www.PriestsForLife.org Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests For Life, gives very clear reasoning on why Elena Kagan should not be confirmed to the Supreme Court. In this video, he uses the words of the abortionist themselves, documented in Supreme Court testimony, to describe the procedure that Elena Kagan herself, supports:
"The friction causes the fetus to tear apart. For example, a leg might be ripped off the fetus as it is pulled through the cervix." (This is from the Supreme Court's 2007 abortion decision.) Abortionist Martin Haskell said, under oath, "We would attack the lower extremity first, remove, you know, possibly a foot, then the lower leg at the knee and then finally we get to the hip." Abortionist Haskell also said, "Typically the skull is brought out in fragments rather than as a unified piece…"
After repeating the words of the abortionists themselves, Fr. Pavone asks the question, "What has gone wrong, what has gone wrong that we turn the other way, we rationalize and justify the toleration of this kind of activity? And that is why the vote should be no. And that is why we should be outraged and involved in the prolife effort."

Today's Devotional
A Prayer for Spending Money - Your Daily Prayer - May 29
No one is immune to the negative hold that money can have on our hearts in plenty or in want. I am a spender. I like to shop and get new things. However, God has taught me throughout my life to pray about my spending and to listen to the still, small voices that lead me in my financial decisions. God desires us to live a life of generosity, putting God before money. We cannot serve both God and money.
