'Hope In The Holy Land' Official Trailer For Christian Documentary - Movies

The official trailer for ‘Hope in the Holy Land,’ a Christian documentary, gives a shocking and close-up view of the perspectives on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Todd Morehead, an American Christian, wanted a better understanding of the violence happening in a place he holds near to his heart, Israel. He leads tours across Israel but struggled when trying to explain the conflict that has lasted for decades.

For almost five years, Todd and his co-producer, Justin Kron, dedicated their lives to creating a documentary to “present a balanced account of the complicated relationship between the two countries and to promote godly love and understanding among all groups represented.”

The duo took three trips to the Holy Land to collect footage and Interview Muslims, Christians, and Jews on the conflict. Sure, the violence is horrific and painful to watch, but what the people said was even more shocking.

So much hatred for the other side has been taught for the past 73 years, and it’s difficult for them to see it any other way. But once the trailer shows the hate, it introduces the diamonds in the rough that attempt to overcome the violence and hate.

No matter what specific beliefs you or others have, our God does not wish for us to hate. Our God only wants peace and love. Todd and Justin risked their lives to show that everyone is simply human at the end of the day. We are all the same. Beautiful things can happen when we forgive others.

Lord, lead us to love others we disagree with and to love those that feel hatred.
