All 50 U.S. states report below freezing temps (Second Coming Watch Update #454)

Description: 1. According to the National Post, All 50 of America’s states recorded temperatures below freezing Tuesday. It was so cold even the polar bear at Chicago zoo spent most of the day indoors. At least 15 people are believed to have died across the US as a result of the cold blast, which has crippled much of the country.

2. According to the Times of Israel, Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett, head of the Jewish Home party, rejected Tuesday afternoon the prospect of a peace deal based on the 1967 lines, and called a potential Palestinian state “a demographic disaster for Israel.”

3. According to the Jerusalem Post, The Knesset in a preliminary vote Wednesday rejected the so-called “two-state solution bill,” which would prohibit the government from unilaterally annexing land.

4. According to The Telegraph, about 100,000 bats have fallen from the sky and died during a heatwave in Australia that has left the trees and earth littered with dead creatures.

5. According to Reuters, the United States said on Tuesday it will send 800 more soldiers and about 40 Abrams main battle tanks and other armored vehicles to South Korea next month as part of a military re-balance to East Asia after more than a decade of war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
