Alive in Christ
Are you walking dead?
The Spirit is alive. Adam and Eve were the first to sin. Cain followed in sin when he slew Able. We have to learn to do our best for God the first time. "Dead" is listed 386 times where alive is listed 81 times in the Bible. A lot of people are walking dead, we should be walking in Christ Jesus to be alive. We are in the world, but we are Not of the world. Sin will bring you death. But if you have Jesus in you, you are Alive. We owe the flesh nothing. But we owe Christ Jesus everything.
Romans 8:1-16
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
condemnation - 1. the expression of very strong disapproval; censure.
"there was strong international condemnation of the attack"
synonyms: censure, criticism, strictures, denunciation, vilification;
Carnal minded - 1.pertaining to or characterized by the flesh or the-body, its passions and appetites; sensual:
Long suffering - 1.enduring injury, trouble, or provocation long and patiently.
Mortify - cause (someone) to feel embarrassed, ashamed, or humiliated.
"she was mortified to see her wrinkles in the mirror"
"I'd be mortified if my friends found out"
