Stressed Out Mom Was Close to Losing It When A Dollar Store Cashier Stepped in to Help

A Dollar Store cashier couldn't help but notice a struggling mom who was close to the end of her rope. And what this stranger decided to do may seem small to some, but to the frazzled mom, this act of kindness was HUGE!

Children are one of life’s biggest blessings. There is nothing like being a parent and welcoming a new bundle of joy into the home. Children add much joy, happiness and love to a parent’s life. They make life a fuller and richer experience.

However, at times, children can and do add stress to life.

Like everyone else, children get tired, cranky and annoyed. However, unlike everyone else, and as every parent knows, children often make it entirely clear when they are tired, cranky and annoyed. Everyone within a mile radius of the children will know their mood. 

That’s what happened to one mother who was shopping in a New Jersey Dollar Tree. The mom’s hands were full as she was trying to check out. To make matters worse, her daughter was upset and in the middle of a meltdown, according to the video posted on TikTok.

The Dollar Store cashier gave the mom a hand. She picked up the young lady and kept her occupied, letting the child scan her mother’s items.

Act Of Kindness From Dollar Store Cashier

As the cashier holds the child in one arm, she grabs items with the other. The child then focuses all of her attention on moving the item across the scanner. 

The mother was grateful for the sweet and caring move of unexpected kindness from the Dollar Store cashier.

“She instantly changed our moods for the better,” according to the text in the short clip. 

The mother also added that while she never posts such things on social media, she couldn’t help but shine a light on the cashier’s loving move. 

“I never post stuff like this, but I just want this woman to have the world,” the text in the clip reads. “THANK YOU!”

What a simple but sweet and loving move that, at that moment, likely meant the world to a mother with an upset toddler.
