The Prodigal Son
***********FOR KIDS*********
There were these two brothers
And the younger of the other
Ask his dad if he could go away
He said I want to see the World
And maybe meet myself a girl
I plan to cause a lot of trouble long the way
Well Ok then said the dad
So he cashed in all he had
And gave his money to his youngest baby boy
And so the Young boy took the cash
And he ran off in a mad dash
His older brother well, he was quite annoyed
But dad said
You are always welcomed home my son
It doesn't matter how far you run
You can always come on home
Now please be careful
When you're having fun
But the Oldest brother
Stayed behind to help his father
Cause they owned a very busy family farm
He worked Hard night and day
Feeding chickens Bailing hay
Raising goats and cows and cleaning out the barn
While the Younger brother danced and sang and drank Champagne
Wasting all the money
from his dad
It wasn't long before he had to take a job himself
Because he squandered all the money that he had
So the Younger brother said
Wish I could go back home instead
Wonder if dad will be ok with this idea
But when dad saw him from afar and threw his arms around him hard
And said dear boy it sure is wonderful to see ya
And Dad Said
You are always Welcome home my son
It doesn't matter to me what you've done
Well I forgive you just like Jesus
Our father up in Heaven
You are always Welcome home my son
It doesn't matter how far you run
You are forgiven says Jesus
Our father up in Heaven
So the Dad he jumped for Joy
As he hugged his baby boy
And dressed him with his Finest Robe and Golden Ring
He said it's
