The Jesus Question
The question that Jesus asked while being crucified is the same question that we all ask God at some point in our lives- "Why?". If this question is not answered in times of pain and confusion, it can cause significant damage to our lives and our souls. We usually ask this question when events happen that remind us that we live in a world where evil exists. If it is a bad experience for us, how much worse it must have been for Jesus on the Cross, when he truly experienced evil for the first time and the feeling of abandonment by the Father after taking the world's sins upon himself.
