Alan Jackson Performs 'Drive/You'll Always Be My Baby' Medley At ACM Awards

Take a step back in time as country legend Alan Jackson performs a nostalgic medley of ‘Drive’ and ‘You’ll Always Be My Baby’ at the 56th ACM Awards.

Alan Jackson is a country music icon. For decades, he’s churned out hit after hit such as ‘Chattahoochee’ and ‘Remember When.’ From sold out tours to winning almost every country music award created, Alan is truly a legend in the music industry.

But one achievement stands above all of the rest and that is Alan’s family. Alan is the father to three daughters: Mattie, Alexandra and Dani. In fact, all three were featured in the lyrics and music video for his 2002 hit ‘Drive.’

“I'm grown up now, three daughters of my own
I let them drive my old Jeep across the pasture at our home
Maybe one day they'll reach back in their file
And pull out that old memory and think of me and smile and say”

Today, Alan is at the 56th annual ACM Awards for a special tribute to his daughters as he performs ‘Drive’ and his latest single, ‘You’ll Always Be My Baby.’

“But you're a woman on your own
All in love and nearly gone
But you'll always be my baby, no matter where you are
You'll always be my baby, forever in my heart”

If you are a parent, you may find yourself having a hard time keeping back the tears as you listen to this heartwarming medley. What a beautiful performance that his children are sure to remember for a lifetime.
