Children's Choir Sings 'Rescue' From Lauren Daigle
This all-girl children’s choir sings ‘Rescue’ from Lauren Daigle and nails it.
A group of six girls from the Voices of Hope Children’s Choir gave a heartful performance of a well-known Christian song. I’m emotional, to say the least.
On a small church stage accompanied by a small orchestra, the members took their turns singing the opening lines. Each of them is dressed in a brightly colored dress that gives off a sense of hope and happiness. They look lovely!
Once the girls start harmonizing is when the magic happens. They all truly seem to be feeling the words they sing.
The members of the choir in this performance include Hope, Lauren, Eilee, Keslyn, Angelina, and Leila. All of them have an incredible voice at such a young age!
The Voices of Hope Children’s Choir runs as a non-profit organization that offers a free choir program to children of all ages and experience levels. The group’s Facebook bio says, “We hope to change the world, one song at a time.”
What a wonderful mission -- a group that gives kids the chance to sing in an organized chorus and attempts to positively impact people’s everyday lives. I’m a fan!
Lauren Daigle’s contemporary Christian hit, ‘Rescue,’ was released in 2018 as a single from her album, ‘Look Up Child.’ Lauren’s songs tend to be raw and emotional. She sings about the darkest of lows that everybody can experience.
The inspiring theme of hope and support makes her music relatable. Lauren actually wrote ‘Rescue’ for a friend that was going through difficult times to let her know she wasn’t alone and that it would get better. She even admitted that every time she listens to the song she cries.
I’m crying thanks to the song and because these girls’ voices are so beautiful! What a wonderful message to share with the world.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

A Prayer for When You Feel Lost - Your Daily Prayer - April 27
When we feel lost, God is our true north. He is the one who can lead us where He wants us. It is so easy to get caught up in listening to the world, so sometimes, it is best to shut it out to create a quiet space for God to work.
