This video is a recitation of the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, and is meant for reference and educational purposes.

In addition to it being recited in Syriac, it includes both English translations and transliterations of the Syriac text. This is ideal for those studying the Syriac language.


The Sorrowful Mysteries are said:
On Tuesdays and Fridays; and on every Sunday, from the third Sunday before Lent (for the souls of the priests) until the Great Sunday of the Resurrection.


ܨܠܽܘܿܬܳܐ ܕܡܳܪܰܬ̥ ܘܰܪ̈ܕܶܐ ܪ̈ܳܐ‌ܙܳܢܳܝܶܐ: ܠܦܽܘܼܬ̥ ܡܰܕܪܳܫܳܐ ܠܘܰܪ̈ܕܶܐ ܪ̈ܳܐ‌ܙܳܢܳܝܶܐ ܕܣܽܘܼܪ̈ܝܳܝܶܐ ܡܳܪ̈ܽܘܼܢܳܝܶܐ

ܪ̈ܳܐ‌ܙܶܐ ܕܟ̥ܰܪܝܽܘܼܬܳܐ:
ܒܝ̈ܰܘܡܶܐ ܕܰܬܠܳܬܳܐ ܒܫܰܒܳܐ ܘܕܰܥܪܽܘܼܒܬܳܐ. ܘܰܒܟ̥݀ܽܠ ܚܰܕ ܒܫܰܒܳܐ܆ ܕܡ̣ܶܢ ܚܰܕ ܒܫܰܒܳܐ ܬܠܺܝܬܳܝܳܐ ܕܰܩܕܳܡ ܨܰܘܡܳܐ܂ ܚܠܳܦ ܢܰܦܫ̈ܳܬܗܽܘܿܢ ܕܟ̥ܳܗܢ̈ܶܐ ܥܕܰܡܳܐ ܠܚܰܕ ܒܫܰܒܳܐ ܪܰܒܳܐ ܕܰܩܝܳܡܬܳܐ܀
