Samaritan's Purse Helps Hurricane Maria Victims

After the devastation in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, Christian organization Samaritan's Purse rushed to their aid. This non-profit group of volunteers flew a cargo plane with 50,000 pounds of emergency supplies down to flood victims.

These kind strangers brought everything from backup generators to personal hygiene items. One of the biggest issues facing the hurricane survivors is the lack of communication. All of the cell phone towers are down and people cannot get in touch with their loved ones.

I'm so glad these volunteers are helping out. Let's continue to pray for the people of Puerto Rico during this difficult time.
