"I wrote this poem because I wanted to come against the message that we consistently hear from this world on where we should find our happiness. Whether we realize it or not, this world is constantly telling us to look for and find our happiness and satisfaction in temporary things that don't last, and ultimately don't satisfy. I believe that the only thing that can truly satisfy our hearts is the presence of Jesus, and unless we have him we'll always find ourselves searching for some new thing to make us happy."
