Remember those “last time” moments in life? The last day at school; the last day on a job; the last day we held a beloved pet; the last words spoken to a loved one?
As we approach the final week of this Liturgical Year, we hear Jesus give a “last message” to the people before He endured His Passion.
Our Lord’s words are a sobering reminder that our time in this world is limited and grows shorter each day. In His final words, Jesus encourages us to “persevere in our Faith as it will secure our lives”.
These precious words are worthy of personal reflection especially when we face the struggles and trials of daily life.
