13-Year-Old With Brittle Bone Disease Leaves The Judges Rolling With Comedy Song

Not everyone knows how to laugh on their bad days, but this boy does. In this video, a 13-year-old with brittle bone disease leaves the judges rolling with a comedy song.

The judges start by talking with Dante and he shares that he is thirteen. They ask if he is supposed to be at school and he says “yes” while laughing. They ask if the school knows why he is not there and he comically says, “Not really, no.” The audience laughs and the judges say they will keep it a secret.

When asked why he has come on Britain’s Got Talent, Dante so eloquently responds, “I was born with brittle bone disease and I’ve come on Britain’s Got Talent to show other people like myself that even if you’ve got some sort of disability or disadvantage, that you can go as far as your imagination wants to take you.” He is applauded.

When asked what he would do with the money, he says that he would buy his mom a giant house and he raves about their relationship. He starts out his performance song all sad and then turns it around on the audience in humor.

He sings about going on the rides while others are waiting. He says that he has walked through the palace and the closest they’ll get is watching the Crown. He jokes about blowing 13 candles out and Simon has 62. The whole audience cheers and stands in ovation. The judges rave about Dante and his performance. The sweet boy gets 4 yeses and is overcome with happiness.

Watching Dante reminds us that God has a purpose and plan for each person. We are all equally valued and loved in the eyes of the Lord. It can be easy to judge others with disabilities or distance ourselves due to differences, but Christ calls us to welcome them and love them like He does.

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12
