1 Man Sings A Cappella Rendition Of 'The Peace Of God'

Listen to this talented man sing an a cappella rendition of a hymn called ‘The Peace of God.’

Michael Eldridge is the man singing all of the different parts in this music video. What an impressive feat! And the lyrics of the song are by Jon Gardner, the music is by Aneva Peirce, and it was written in 2020.

“This song was the winning submission to a hymn writing contest hosted by the page ‘Church of Christ Hymn Writers.’ I was pleased to sing it and make it a part of my new CD, ‘Whatever is Excellent’, which is available at acapeldridge.com,” Michael writes in the caption of his YouTube video.

Michael is extremely talented, and he sings the bass, lead, tenor, and alto parts in this song. And he does them all so beautifully! When he blends all the different parts together, the song sounds so full and complete. The music and his vocals are just so soothing and lovely to listen to.

“This wonderful song about the peace of God expresses what it sings about: coming to rest and security in God!  The harmonious, calm and peaceful singing underlines the message.  Jesus is our peace!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“We definitely need God's peace in these trying times. Thank you for this beautiful hymn. Love it very much,” writes another person online.

Michael is a pharmacist by trade, but he uses his passion for singing to glorify God and encourage those around him. May he continue to use his wonderful gifts to shine a light into this world!
