Family From Ukraine Overwhelmed By Gifts From Secret Santa - Inspirational Videos

A family of five from Ukraine who were forced to flee their home country due to Russia’s deadly and unprovoked invasion were in tears after receiving gifts from Secret Santa.

Christmas is the season for giving and brightening someone else’s life with kindness and love. Americans, by and large, have been blessed. However, other people around the world may not be as fortunate as the average American. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, a loving and beautiful family of five from Ukraine was surprised by a gift from Secret Santa. He gave the family thousands of dollars for food and clothing. 

Valera, Galina and their three children made their way to the United States after their home was destroyed during Russia’s invasion of their country. Their home and all their possessions were demolished by a Russian tank, according to the clip.

The clip’s description states that the family had many friends and relatives killed in Russia’s invasion of their small country. 

With the help of a translator, the family expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the gifts. Galina, the wife and mother, a nurse in her native Ukraine, was overwhelmed by the generosity. Throughout the clip, she continuously wiped and brushed away the tears from her eyes. 

In addition to expressing their gratitude for the gifts, the family was also thrilled to be in the United States of America, away from the deadly fighting. 

“It’s good here,” Galina said. “It’s quiet, and it’s peaceful.”

She added: “And here, there are no rockets flying, so that’s a great part of it.”

But before the clip ended, the journalists were treated to a musical performance from one of the family’s three children. The young man put his skills on the accordion on full display.
