13-Year-Old Hailey Mia Has The Judges Fighting After Stunning Blind Audition

This video has some shockingly incredible talent for such a young age. 13-year-old Hailey Mia has the judges fighting after her stunning blind audition.

Hailey sings “You Broke Me First” by Tate McRae. Her precision and vocal abilities are way beyond her years. She has a natural gift that can only be given by God. Her passion and confidence is clear on the stage. All of the judges are in awe of her voice, but in the end, only two turn around. Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande go head to head fighting to get this girl on their team.

When the judges find out that Hailey is only 13 years old, they are shocked. Hailey says that she has been waiting until she was 13 to audition for the Voice and she is honored to be on the show. Kelly responds, “Holy Moly!” Kelly encourages Hailey that she has won the show before with a 14-year-old. Kelly tells her mom, “Job well done, you should write a book on how to raise kids.”

John Legend also chimes in and gives her compliments. Then, Ariana says that she is “Spectacular.” She encourages her that these moments are the ones that will continue to help her to grow. She says that Hailey will continue to flourish and she would love to help her get there.

Blake then steps in and encourages her to go with Ariana and Kelly gets frustrated. Kelly goes on to encourage her that she doesn’t have anyone like her on her team and that she would have a special spot. John Legend asks who Hailey picks as her coach and she chooses Ariana.

Just like this young woman waited a long time to share her gift with others, sometimes we are required to wait. This moment is absolutely sweet and thrilling. I believe Hailey would say it was worth the wait. Whatever you are waiting on, remember that Christ is developing you and preparing you for the future. This time is not wasted and this season is valuable.

"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14
