Sermon: "A Quiet, Peaceful Walk," Part 1
Has your church recently suffered from a split? Have members of the church left to join another church down the road? Like when a marriage breaks up, a church "divorce" can be very painful and leave many wondering if their church can survive. There is nothing new here. Long ago the apostle Paul had to encourage church members to work at their relationships within the church. Watch as Pastor MacLaren explains the concerns of the apostle Paul for the unity of the church, and see if you shouldn't be doing more to build your local church. Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie PA. The views he expresses here are his own, and do not necessarily reflect those of First Presbyterian Church or the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

A Prayer for Spending Money - Your Daily Prayer - May 29
No one is immune to the negative hold that money can have on our hearts in plenty or in want. I am a spender. I like to shop and get new things. However, God has taught me throughout my life to pray about my spending and to listen to the still, small voices that lead me in my financial decisions. God desires us to live a life of generosity, putting God before money. We cannot serve both God and money.
