Behind The Scenes Look At 'I Still Believe' Christian Film

The stars of the upcoming faith-based film ‘I Still Believe’ share a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiring movie.

The film follows the life of Christian singer Jeremy Camp. Early in his music career, Jeremy fell in love and married his first wife, Melissa. But while they were both still so young, Melissa fought and lost a battle with cancer.

In the clip, we see Melissa finding hope and courage against the grave odds. “I am so scared. But if one person’s life is changed by what I go through, then it’ll all be worth it.” Her death was difficult to process, but Jeremy found comfort in the arms of the Lord.

During that time, he penned his hit song, ‘I Still Believe.’

"I still believe in Your faithfulness
I still believe in Your truth
I still believe in Your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe"

The film features the same production team who made the 2018 hit Christian film, "I Can Only Imagine.” They weren’t looking to make another music-centered film, but when they heard Jeremy’s story, they knew the world needed to hear his incredible walk with God.

Jon Erwin, the writer and co-director said, “When you encounter a story that meaningful and that inspiring, this has to be our next film.” Actor KJ Apa, of the hit TV show Riverdale, will star as Jeremy Camp.

Britt Robertson, Gary Sinise and country singer Shania Twain round out this star-studded cast. ‘I Still Believe’ is set to be released on March 20, 2020.
