Cómo responde la iglesia católica ante el movimiento de la reforma? En 1540, la iglesia comienza a cuestionarse un poco y a introducir algunos cambios. Parte de esos cambios, surge nuevas órdenes, una de ellas los Jesuitas por Ignacio Loyola y también empieza el movimiento de la contra-reforma. La iglesia continúa las misas en latín y la prohibición de la traducción de la Biblia al lenguaje del pueblo.
