March 18, 2012_”24 4 U”_Pilate
Mt 27: 11-26_Jesus, having already been brought before Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin, is now found before Pilate who begins an exercise in "making choices.” Finding no fault with Jesus, Pilate chooses to send Him on to Herod (Luke 23:7). Herod sends Jesus back to Pilate. Not sure what to do now Pilate chooses to ask the crowd “Jesus or Barabbas?” When the mob chooses Barabbas Pilate chooses to wash his hands of Jesus after some advice from his own wife. What “choices” are we making in our relationship with Jesus Christ?
